Katya:
What practices/events do you hold at the retreat center?
Patrick:
We lived in India for five years, immersing ourselves in the culture—and, of course, learning so much. My greatest discovery was Silence. Here, we host 5-day Mini Vipassana retreats and Weekend Silence Practices. At the core of our philosophy is "Scream or Stay Silent"—two powerful tools for transformation. By "scream," I mean creative expression: through music, art, and any form of creativity. That’s why we organize music festivals, art workshops, and exhibitions.
PPL Ocean Center doesn’t just host its own events—we also open our doors to practitioners who want to hold their retreats and programs here. We’ve even hosted "conscious" birthday and New Year celebrations, where instead of overindulging, guests practiced yoga, meditated, and sang to live music.
Katya:
What is PPL Ocean, and how did the idea of creating the center come about?
Patrick:
And the most important part of this process is people, this Ocean of people.
PPL Ocean isn’t just a place—it’s a gathering of like-minded individuals who share their practices with each other and our guests, coming together to create new projects and experiences. That’s the core idea: to unite people who have something to give and who are ready…
PPL Ocean stands for People Ocean. In Russian, it can be translated both as "people of the ocean" and "ocean of people"—and both meanings reflect our essence. I wouldn’t say we’re creating something. It’s more like a birth that we’re facilitating. The idea and the place naturally entered our lives, and even now, we don’t fully understand what our ultimate goal is. One thing is certain—we experience immense joy and fulfillment in the process.
Silent retreats hold a special place, offering participants an immersion into an atmosphere of complete silence and solitude. The program includes morning meditations, yoga sessions, walks along the ocean, and balanced vegetarian meals. Such retreats allow one to disconnect from the noise of daily life, gain deeper self-awareness and restore inner balance.
Scientific research confirms that silence reduces stress levels, improves sleep, and strengthens the immune system. Many participants report feeling renewed, energized, and inspired after retreats.

Silent retreats are ideal for:
  • Those suffering from exhaustion and emotional burnout;
  • Seekers of harmony and deeper self-understanding;
  • Anyone in need of a reset and creative inspiration

Attending PPL Ocean is more than just a getaway—it’s an opportunity for profound inner work. To slow down, shift focus inward, and discover new horizons is an art form, now accessible to everyone.
PPL Ocean invites you on a journey toward harmony and mindful living, where nature and an inspiring atmosphere help you find inner peace and happiness.

PPL Ocean is a project by Katya and Patrick Antoni. Patrick oversees operations and design. He developed the landscape plan, which includes a maze of herbs and spices, a 25-meter natural swimming pond fed by an underground spring, a fruit orchard, and an area for art events. Future plans include building an art stage and a yoga and meditation tent. Patrick also plays guitar and drums, which inspired him to create a music studio for jam sessions, recording singles, albums, and podcasts.

Katya is a yoga, Animal Flow, breathwork, and meditation instructor. She hosts cacao ceremonies, labyrinth meditations, and smudging (herbal cleansing rituals). Additionally, she works in sports and documentary photography. The center’s basement houses a photo studio and an exhibition hall, where workshops and photoshoots take place.
Katya and Patrick share their vision for the center.
Spanning nearly a hectare of land, PPL Ocean is a sanctuary where nature and mindful living intertwine. Located on a hill, the property features a spacious main house with cozy guest rooms, a practice hall, a yoga studio, a music room, a photo studio, and a  terrace overlooking the ocean. The shared kitchen and dining area become a hub of connection, where guests gather for delicious meals and friendly conversations.
The interiors reflect a curated fusion of Indian artifacts, vintage details, and Scandinavian minimalism—creating an atmosphere that feels both artistic and deeply soothing. Every corner is designed to inspire presence, creativity, and renewal.Fruit trees dot the landscape, offering fresh, seasonal treats year-round,The scent of eucalyptus blends with the salty ocean breeze, deepening relaxation. The true charm of this place lies in the small river  that flows along the property, winding between tall, aromatic eucalyptus.
